A Brief History

Heather Bause, formerly the Creative Director for Whiteboard Labs (Houston, TX), for four years. She was also a Creative Director for several other Houston companies, including, Shell International, ChevronTexaco, AIM Mutual Funds and Enron. In 2001 she was awarded the National Graphic Design, a yearly competition yielding over 35,000 entries and awarded to only 10 individuals. In 2007, she received an award from ADCH for her work on the mariobatali.com website. She was also named as "Texas New Talent" from Lawndale Arts and Performing Center. Holding a BFA in Painting from the University of Houston, Heather has worked in advertising, print design and web design since 1994, and is a painter, actively showing in Houston, Galveston and London.

Holger Bause was until recently, the Technology Director for Whiteboard Labs. Holger began his Information Technology career when he transferred into the IT Department of a large hospital group in Germany, where he was a student nurse and later a nurse practitioner. There, he acted as the IT manager and oversaw a large-scale network infrastructure, encompassing four hospitals and serving more than 1,500 employees. His interests quickly turned to Internet ready application development with an emphasis on server side and database implementation. After moving to the United States, Holger worked for NASA, creating an online training application using Macromedia Flash and Java. Since joining Whiteboard Labs in February of 2003, Holger was in charge of the company's technical infrastructure and the lead architect of many RIAs developed by the company. Holger holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Nursing degree.
